AFY EDUCATION: Transforming the future through inclusive schooling

Ensure vulnerable children in Yaoundé an equitable, inclusive and lasting access to quality education.

The program

Overview

Education is not a privilege — it is a fundamental right and the main driver of social transformation. Yet for many vulnerable children, the path to school is full of obstacles: economic and social barriers fuel a cycle of dropout and exclusion that weakens their future and the cohesion of their communities.

The AFY Education and Training program mobilises to break this cycle. The goal: ensure equitable, inclusive and lasting access to quality education by working with every actor around the child (families, schools, local institutions). Our strategy combines close-range support, schooling assistance, community synergy and advocacy for the right to education for all.
