Why we exist
Give young Cameroonians the tools, skills, and confidence to become the authors of their own future.
AFY works with 15-25 year-olds facing economic hardship or school dropout in urban Yaoundé. We combine vocational training, academic support, and psychosocial care to open lasting paths toward autonomy.

Looking to 2030
Young Cameroonians as authors of their own future, grounded in their neighbourhoods.
By 2030, AFY aims to support 5,000 young people in Yaoundé and extend the model to two more cities. 8 out of 10 beneficiaries should reach stable employment or further education 12 months after training.
4 pillars
Dignity
Every young person we support is treated as an agent of change, never as an object of charity.
Proximity
We work within neighbourhoods, as close as possible to families and local realities.
Transparency
Our accounts and results are published every year. Your donations are traceable.
Sustainability
We do not train for the sake of training. We support every young person until real autonomy is reached.
